We enjoy several acres of country property that is ideal for raising happy-well adjusted puppies and dogs. We are a small kennel with lots of personal attention to our dogs and puppies. Our dogs live the country life with large outdoor kennels and green and grassy play yards to exercise, dig holes and interact with others for group play times. Our property is surrounded by a large cattle ranch and a neighboring property with Llamas and goats. Our pups are raised with lots of fresh air and sunshine and wide open spaces. We offer at Foxfire an opportunity to have your Golden "camp" with us when you travel or go on vacation. We take a limited number of Goldens only to enjoy the camp experience with our dogs. For Holidays, vacation or family trips you can be assured that your dog is having a fun and interactive experience at Foxfire while you are gone.

We also offer a basic Obedience program on a limited basis. To assure your dog of the individual attention necessary to obtain the best results, only a small number of clients are in for training programs at any one time. Our programs are individually geared to your dog's needs. We offer both on leash and off leash training. Your dog's stay with us for that work depends on the goals .Basic Obedience (leash work only) takes about 3 weeks with emphasis on problem areas and "manners' for every day living. Advanced (off leash training) adds an additional time to the stay if the dog is ready for that step. We work with you as well as your dog during his stay to maximize the results of training. We will start a pup as early as 6 month of age and at any age after that. While at Foxfire for Boarding or for Training your dog will receive a balanced program of recreation and group socialization with the personal care and attention we give our own dogs.

You can also request a complete bathing and grooming for your friend to top off his camp stay. We are able to send him home toned, relaxed, happy and squeaky clean with nails clipped and ready to re-join your family.
