News from FOXFIRE-GOLDENS competing in the Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Field & Agility Rings

New News

Jett (Foxfire Starchsr R We There Yet) went Winners Dog on 11/23 and Winners Dog/Best Of Winners on 11/24 at the San Joaquin Kennel Club. He now has 6 points towards his AKC Championship, this young boy is living up to his beautiful pedigree. Watch for him at the Golden Gate Kennel Club dog show (see below for more information on this dog show).

Watch for Summer (Ch. Tk Foxfire Haut Summer Nights), Phoebe (Foxfire Starchaser FineByDesign), Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer), Madison (Starchasers First Class Ticket), Jett (Foxfire Starchsr R We There Yet), Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me), and Gabby (Foxfire Merlot Use Your Words) at the Golden Gate Kennel Club show on January, 24th and 25th 2009 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. Phoebe, Regis, Madison, Jett, and Tia are all Summer kids and Gabby is a daughter of our Ch. Foxfire's Idle Chatter and our Foxfire Master's Over The Limit, CGC.

Jett (Foxfire Starchsr R We There Yet) won another point at Wine Country Kennel Club Show on 11/9/08. Jett took WD for one more point that day under judge Garath Morgan-Jones. Jett was beautifully handled by Tiffany Hannan and groomed by Tiffany's mom Tami. A group effort to help Jett to his win. Tiffany also handled her girl Gabby (Foxfire Merlot Use Your Words) to a 3rd place on both 11/and 11/9. Gabby has had a long lay off from shows and was getting back into the swing of things. Gabby is owned and loved by the Hannans of Merlot Goldens.


Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer) took second at the Norcal Golden Retriever Specialty. This is a great win with such huge classes.

Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) went WB, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed at the Redwood Empire dog show in Santa Rosa. Thank you Janice Moore for presenting Tia so well.

 


Tia (
Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) went WB, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite at the Mensona dog show in Santa Rosa. Thank you Tiffany Hannan (Merlot Goldens) for presenting Tia so beautifully.

 


Button (Foxfire Tamerlan Belly Dancer, CDX) completed her CDX Title in style with a first place in Open competition. Button is a happy, outgoing and loving girl owned by Tamra Howard of Tamerlan Goldens and trained and handled by Faye Ghilmetti for both here CD and her CDX titles. Button was bred by Foxfire-Goldens and is a daughter of our Ch. Master's Foxfire About Time and our Ch. Foxfire Masters Flash Dance. Congratulations to Button, Tamra and Faye. Button will be in pursuit of her UD title after her maternal duties. We look forward to seeing Button in the Obedience ring again soon.

 


Tia (
Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) went WB, BW, and Best of Breed On April 21st at the Lewis and Clark K.C. in Idaho.

 

Button (Foxfire Tamerlan's Belly Dancer, CD) has continued her success in the Obedience ring. She has completed her second leg towards her CDX title with another great score and a first place in her class as well. Button is owned by Tamra Howard of Tamerlan Goldens and trained and handled by her friend Faye Ghilmetti. Congratulations to Button and her family. One more leg to go for her title.

 


Jett (Foxfire Starchaser R We There Yet) won WD and BOW for his second point and his litter mate sister Madison (Starchasers First Class Ticket) won WB and BOS for her first point at the Sacramento Kennel Club dog show on 4/12/08. Jett and Maddy turned one year old the day befor the show so this was their first time in the 12 to 18 month class. We could not be more proud of these future stars.

Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win For Me) won Winners Bitch, Best Of Winners and Best Opposit Sex for her second point this weekend 3/21/08

 


On January 18th 2008 Foxfire's Charming Petunia CD received her Companion Dog title.
On January 14th, 2007 she also recived her Internationaler Schonheits-Junghund-Champion and National Junghund Champion titles.

 


Masters Grace in High Society, AX, OAJ. She is the daughter of Xena and Monte owned by Jeanne Widup

 


Master's Caribbean Ginger JH is a Monte and Xena daughter. Ginger has earned her JH(Junior Hunter) title. She is also AKC pointed and now in training for her S.H. (Senior Hunter.) Ginger will be another title towards Monte and Xena OS and OD.. Ginger is owned by Monica Echavcez.

Summer (Ch. TK Foxfire Haut Summer Nights) winning Best Of Opposit, from the Veterans class, at the Golden Gate Kennel Club dog show.


Summer (Ch. Foxfire TK Foxfire Haut Summer Nights) with her children Jett(Foxfire Starchaser R We There Yet) and Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) winning the Brood Bitch class.


Our Golden Gate Kennel Club weekend on 1/26 and 1/27 went well for the dogs.


Jett (Foxfire Starchaser R We There Yet) won his 9-12 month puppy classes both days and went Reserve Winners Dog on Saturday. Jett is co-bred with Psyche Clark of Starchaser Golden Retrievers.


Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) went 2nd. in her 12-18 month class on Saturday and won that class on Sunday. Tia was considered for Winners Bitch on Sunday. This is very exciting for young dog in adult competition. Tia is co-owned by Starchaser Golden Retrievers as well.


Jett's sister Madison (Starchasers First Class Ticket) went 3rd 9-12 on both Saturday and Sunday.


Margo (Foxfire's Dancing In the Isles) went 4th Open Bitch both days in heavy competition.


Jett and Tia helped their Mom, Summer (Ch. Foxfire's Haut Summer Nights) win first place Brood Bitch both days. Summer also won the Veterans class both days and Best of Opposite Sex on Sunday for her proud owner Psyche Clark of Starchaser Golden Retrievers.

The gang was expertly handled by our handler Ellen Cottingham. A beautiful job as usual. Both Jett and Tia went home with Ellen to Washington State to try the Northwest shows for a while. We do expect great things from them both.

 


Jett (Foxfire Starchsr R We There Yet) went winners dog, best of winners, and best puppy, at the Napa dog show today. This is an amazing start for this wonderful six month old puppy. Jett is now AKC pointed at just six months old!!!

 

Jazz (Foxfire's Pleasant Journey MX,MXJ, MACH) passed away in October, 2007. Jazz was the perfect combination of beautiful companion, to her mother Jill and her "sister" Butter. Jazz was Laura's once in a life-time dog. A happy and enthusiastic working Agility and Obedience dog as well. She exuded joy and explosive speed in Agility earning her a MACH title as well as her other Agility accomplishments. She made everyone smile and approached life with zest and will be missed by Laura and Gary and their family and everyone who ever met Jazz.

 

Tango (Tiffany's Timeless Tango) is now in excellent with AKC and got a 2nd place in her first excellent standard class. She also has her NADAC open titles in standard, jumpers, and chances, need one more leg in both tunnelers and weaves. Diane is also working with Marli on the weaves, teeter, and tunnels and she is doing great.



Congratulations to Button! (Foxfire Tamerlans Belly Dancer) she has earned her CD (Companion Dog) Obedience title . Button will now begin working on her CDX with both her proud owner Tamra Howard of Tamerlan Goldens and her trainer/handler Faye Ghielmetti.

 

On Saturday 10/13 in Idaho at the Capitol City show, Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer) went RWD and Margo (Foxfire's Dancing in the Isles) went WB/BOS for 2 more points towards her American Championship.

News form the Lizard Butte shows in Idaho, Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer) went WD/BOW on Friday for 1 more point towards his American Championship.

Margo (Foxfire's Dancing in the Isles) went RWB both days in Carson City 9/29 and 9/30.

Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) (above) went winners bitch and best of opposite sex Sunday at the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club dog show, winning her first point towards her American Championship. Thank you Tiffany Hannan for presenting Tia so well.

 


Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer) (above) won the open dog class at the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club dog show 9/15/07.

The sisters, Lola (Foxfire's One Fine Day) and Phoebe (Foxfire Starchaser Finebydesign) placed both days at Redwood Empire in the Open Bitch class. Regis (Tamerlans Fine-L-Answer) was also in the ribbons both days. The Foxfire "family" did well in all classes.

Gabby (Foxfire's Use Your Words) took first in the Bred By Exhibitor class for both days. Gabby is a daughter of our Ch. Foxfire's Idle Chatter and Foxfire Master's Over the Limit. Gabby is growing up and showing that she can win.

Our Monte (Ch. Master's Foxfire About Time) is proud of his daughter Reflections As Time Goes By owned by Patricia Bass-Walker continued her winning ways and is closer to her American Championship by winning both 9/8 and 9/9 at Redwood Empire K.C. and topped that off by going Best of Breed and Group II. Fantastic wins for her and Patricia. Both Foxfire and Monte are so proud of her.

Our Tia (Starchaser Foxfire Win Four Me) was shown at the Redwood Empire K.C. on 9/8 and took a second place in the 12-18 month class and then won that class on 9/9. Little Tia is growing up and showing that she is competitive like the rest of her family.

Margo (Foxfire's Dancing in the Isles) won Winners Bitch at Gold Country Kennel Club on 9/2. She went Reserve Winners Bitch at the Eugene K.C. on 9/22 for a Major Reserve.

Margo (Foxfire's Dancing in the Isles) won Winners Bitch at the Gold Country Kennel Club dog show 9/1/07. Check back often for updates as Margo collects points towards her AKC Championship.

Congratulations to a new CHAMPION Canela (Ch. Foxfire Master's Winner Take All) (above) lived up to her name and completed her American Championship title for her owner Monica Esteves. Canela finished in style in heavy competition and made us all proud of her. Her breeders, FOXFIRE-GOLDENS and MASTERS GOLDENS are excited about this beautiful girl . Canela is a daughter of Ch. Regency Only Game in Town and our Can. Ch. Foxfire Masters' Deeper in Debt. This make another titles offspring for both parents.

Laura and Gary Ecklin are the proud parents of Foxfire’s Pleasant Journey, MX, MXJ and new MACH dog. Jill’s Mom, Foxfire’s Jasmine is also proud of her daughter, Jill. Jazz is a MACH dog as well and now semi-retired and running with the seniors, Jazz has her Novice, Open, and Excellent A Standard and Jumpers titles (six titles in 5 trials!) The Ecklin’s young girl, Butter (Foxfire’s Nutter Butter) is out and running for the next Agility titles for Laura and Gary. Besides training classes in Agility for Napa Dog Training club, Laura has time to train and compete with her winning Foxfire dogs.

Matt and Kristy Hall of Hall’s Canine Armada continue to compete and excel in Agility as well. The Hall’s dynamite girl Hall’s Canine ADCAP Torpedo is a daughter of Foxfire’s Intrepid and Hall’s Canine Grenade. True to their explosive names the Hall “girls” are hot! Torpedo has a CATCH title (CPE Agility Trial Champion) She has just been bred to our Aldo and is due in June, 2007. Armanda’s Canine Bazooka is a daughter of our Ch. Master’s Foxfire About Time and Torpedo. Bazooka is competing at level 5 in CPE Agility and should finish her CATCH like mom soon. The new pup, Bomber is waiting in the wings to become the next Hall’s winner.

Tiffany’s Timeless Tango is a beautiful daughter of our Monte and as of early 2007 has gathered the following Agility titles and awards: She has 5 Novice titles in NADAC standard, jumpers, weavers, tunnelers and changes and she has her NA and NJW in AKC Agility Competition. Tango also has 2 legs in the new fast class offered by AKC. Tango continues her winning ways and has just been bred to our boy Aldo. Tango now has her CGC and pet therapy certification. Tango does her owners, Rick and Diane Gray of Cortez Colorado proud.

Congratulations to Button! (Foxfire Tamerlans Belly Dancer) earned her first leg on her CD (Companion Dog) Obedience title 4/21/07 at the Chief Solano Kennel Club show. To top off her success she won FIRST Place in Novice B. Her proud owner Tamra Howard of Tamerlan Goldens and her very proud trainer/handler Faye Ghielmetti. On to the next two legs on her title for Button, Tamra and Faye.
